DevaBhaasha’ is the world’s first Sanskrit card game. Anyone over 8 years with knowledge of Devanagari script can play this game. Play solo or with up to 6 players.

‘Is knowledge of Sanskrit necessary to play?’

No. Devabhaasha’s game logic is based on Sanskrit grammar, so knowledge of Sanskrit is not necessary to play the game.

Level 1 familiarises players with the basics of Grammar, Gender and Sentence formation. has been created with inputs from Sanskrit scholars, teachers, students and game designers. DevaBhaasha exposes you to 60-70% of basic Sanskrit concepts. It makes Sanskrit simpler by using visuals, colours and icons. As you play the game repeatedly, you will recall grammar rules faster, making your next step on the journey of this beautiful language relatively easier.
